Smoke Control Maintenance Engineer


We are seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to head up our smoke control maintenance department and to deliver reactive and planned maintenance of life safety smoke control systems in accordance with BS9999 and building regulations to our client base across London and the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities:
• Test, repair, inspect and maintain natural and mechanical smoke ventilation systems
• Document tasks and other relevant information pertaining to the visit, in a detailed service report
• Liaise with clients to resolve defects and advise solutions to prevent re-occurrence
• To liaise with the service department to identify sales opportunities
• Maintain high standards of health and safety

About you:
We are seeking an engineer who is punctual, and organised, methodical in their approach and has exceptional attention to detail and customer service, a proactive approach to problem with excellent communication skills.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Fault finding experience
• Knowledge of electrical circuits within control panels
• Working at height experience
• Full driving license
• 18th Edition Electrical qualification or equivalent essential
• Level 3 (or equivalent) electrical qualification
