Senior Accounts Assistant

RECfinancial are currently shortlisting on an exclusive basis to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant to work with our Leicestershire based client working on a temporary full time basis.

The role fits firmly within the heart of the finance function as they seek a detail-oriented individual to join the busy team. This is a great opportunity to work for an ambitious organisation that truly focuses on giving something back.

Main Responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Assistant role:

• Bank and control account reconciliations.
• Assist and review budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Processing data imports for various sites separately.
• Processing balance sheet reconciliations
• Support with the sales ledger function procedures.
• Manually process credit card statements including chasing cardholders for receipts
• Reconciling the fixed asset register.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assisting with the production of the statutory accounts, annual and monthly budgets and budgets reports.
• Producing weekly and monthly sales data and profit and loss accounts.
• Cash flow Analysis, Variance Analysis.

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience in management accounting ideally.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software: Sage, Excel - pivots, look-ups and macros.
