Tig Welder

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful, leading fabrication company located in Tewkesbury.

We have an opportunity for a full time TIG Welder join their team. This is a full time, permanent opportunity, offering excellent career progression opportunities and an hourly rate up to 16.50 p/h pending relevant experience.

The role would be perfect for a time served welder with knowledge of TIG welding and associated fabrication processes.

An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.

TIG Welder main duties:

• Fabrication and welding of ferrous and non-ferrous assemblies to customer specification
• Rectify and identify mistakes as they happen and work towards continuous improvements
• Inspection of components produced to ensure specifications are met
• Working towards health and safety protocols

TIG Welder required skills and experience:

• Excellent knowledge of TIG welding and associated fabrication processes
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Working within the team to support and develop good working practices across production and manufacture
