Electrical Technical Support

MPI have a requirement for an Electrical Technical Support person to work in a full time role in Tewkesbury

Our Client is a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of: Industrial Plugs, Sockets and Combination units to EN(phone number removed) and Associated Power Distribution Products.

Hours Per Week: 8:30 5:00 Monday to Friday

A multi-tasking role with excellent prospects, reporting to the Managing Director and Projects Manager you will provide front line technical support to the internal and external Sales team by way of direct communication with our client base and assisting with technical enquiries for all our Clients products and bespoke solutions.

The main duties of the role and skills required:
Excellent communication skills by phone and email.
Good customer service skills and well organised.
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
Good technical and practical skills.
An understanding of basic CAD and Schematics.
Produce CAD drawings using E Plus Electro Graphics (Full Training Will Be Given).
An Electrical background is desirable.
Work well within a team environment yet work with your own initiative.
Provide technical support, product relevant to the internal and external Sales Team.
Handle general product specific technical enquiries from our client base.
Assist in the Preparation of quotations, bill of materials and final pricing with the assembly department.
Promote and advise on compatible products, services and bespoke solutions.
Liaise with the Sales Office Manager, Projects Manager, External Sales Team and all other departments.

Full product and technical training will be given at our training centre in Italy and on an on-going basis; the ideal candidate will have experience of the Electrical Wholesale Industry and demonstrate a good Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn
