Electrician

Skilled Careers is working with a leading client in the social housing sector, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join a team with a main contractor in the Oldham area on a permanent basis.

If successful, you ll be expected to carry out a range of electrical works within occupied and void social housing properties.

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Oldham

Rate: GBP41,305.00 + Overtime

Responsibilities of the Electrician:

• Electrical Installation & Maintenance: Carry out consumer unit replacements, sub-circuit wiring, and upgrade final circuit accessories (e.g. sockets, switches, lighting, extractor fans)
• Testing & Compliance: Perform fault finding, testing, and remedial works in line with BS: 7671 regulations
• Certification: Complete all relevant electrical certification (EICR s, Minor Works) accurately and competently

Requirements for Electrician role:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regs
• NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds Equivalent
• 2391 Testing & Inspection
• Social Housing Experience
• Full UK Driving License
